Art in Service of Compassion: The Visions of Grace Fundraising Exhibit March 4 to 8, 2026 | SM Podium, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City
On March 4, 2026, the Order of Malta Philippines opened a five-day fundraising art exhibit at SM Podium, Ortigas Center, bringing together talented Filipino artists under one roof in service of a shared humanitarian purpose.
Entitled Visions of Grace: The Blending of Art and Compassion, the exhibit was organized in partnership with the Philippine Hospitaller Foundation of the Order of Malta, Inc. It was a deliberate pairing: art as a vehicle not only for expression, but for action.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by H.E. Yuliia Fediv, Ambassador of Ukraine, Ambassador Mercedes Tuason, and Consul Ms. Betty Ang, alongside Charles Jimson Tui, SM Podium Manager. Opening remarks were delivered by H.E. Dame Josephine E. Bantug, President of the Order of Malta Philippines.
Seven artists participated in the exhibit: Carolina Llanillo, Loida Tan, Veronica V. Wuson, Fidel Sarmiento, Victoria Lopez, Robert Fernandez, and Conchitina Bernardo. Their works generated substantial sales, with proceeds shared between the artists and the Order’s programs under a structured profit-sharing arrangement, supporting the Association’s ongoing hospitaller and humanitarian activities.
The exhibit drew generous support from individual donors and corporate sponsors alike, reflecting a growing community of people who believe that service and creativity are not separate callings.
Visions of Grace was more than a fundraiser. It was a demonstration that compassion takes many forms, and that beauty, too, can be an act of service.
