Within the framework of the F2N program, the month saw crucial activities geared towards both physical well-being and spiritual enrichment. Pediatric monitoring and evaluation sessions were conducted, with pediatricians from the Makati Medical Center Residency Program overseeing the children’s health. Emphasizing the importance of parental presence during checkups, pediatricians addressed essential aspects like self-care and basic hygiene, prompting the Order of Malta (OMP) Project Team to implement measures, including home visits to mothers.
Adding a spiritual dimension to their journey, the children of F2N actively participated in a poignant Holy Mass on April 22, 2023. The Mass, presided over by Rev. Fr. John Gerard Anthony Agravante, FISF, a newly ordained Priest from Leyte, provided a sacred moment for the children. Following the Mass, the attendees lined up to express reverence by kissing the hands of the presiding priest, concluding the meaningful occasion with a group photo in the serene surroundings of the OMP Chapel.
