Feast of St. John the Baptist Celebrated with Joy and Devotion

On June 24,2023  the Order of Malta Philippines embraced joy and devotion as it celebrated the feast of its esteemed Patron, St. John the Baptist. The occasion was marked by a solemn Eucharistic Celebration, presided over by Rev. Fr. Baltazar Obico, OFM, Parish Priest of San Antonio de Padua Parish in Bustillos, Sampaloc, Manila. Led by the distinguished President, H.E. Josephine E. Bantug, members and aspirants for membership actively participated in the celebration, fostering a deep sense of camaraderie.

The Holy Mass witnessed the active involvement of members from the Womenpreneur4Plastic Project and Feed2Nurture Project. Some of these dedicated individuals underwent special training to contribute to the musical aspects of the Mass, adding a unique touch to the celebration. In an effort to ensure the inclusion of members unable to physically attend, the celebration was livestreamed, allowing a broader community to partake in the festivities and spiritual reflections.
