Order of Malta helps ‘Yolanda’ victims
The world’s oldest Order of Chivalry on Tuesday turned over the symbolic key of the 700 newly constructed homes for communities affected by Super Typhoon Yolanda while it applauded Filipino strength and courage amid recent calamities that hit the country.
Visiting Prince and Grand Master Fra’ of the Sovereign Order of Malta Fra’ Matthew Festing handed over to President Benigno Aquino III at the Malacañan Palace the symbolic keys of the built houses in Basey, Samar and Bantayan Island, Cebu donated by the Sovereign Order of Malta.
