On the feast of our Lady of Lourdes, February 11, the world celebrates the Day of the Sick and Order of Malta Philippines joins the world in this celebration with a mass for 1,200 sick and aged from institutions and homes in Metro Manila. The mass was celebrated by His Eminence, Cardinal Gaudencio Rosales, Archbishop of Manila, together with 20 Concelebrants.
As in Lourdes, the anointing of the sick uplifts the afflicted in both body and spirit.
