Order of Malta

2012

The Order of Malta Philippine distributed medical and hospital supplies as well as food supplement and relief supplies to 98 of our partner recipient groups all throughout the country for the year 2012. The activity usually starts off with a mass celebrated by our Magistral Chaplain, Msgr. Esteban Lo, LRMS, followed by a short updating of activities by the Order of Malta Philippines members. It also serves as an opportunity for partners to share their experiences with us.

We thank our donor, AmeriCares Foundation, USA, for their untiring support to help the poor and the sick, especially those afflicted by calamities. An airlift of relief supplies was also sent for the affected families in Pampanga and in Mindanao during the typhoon Washi/Sendong. These areas were badly hit leaving major damage to life and property during the latter part of 2011.
