The Order of Malta distributes medicines, medical supplies and food supplements to 132 beneficiaries throughout the Philippines. The medicines, medical supplies, and food supplement came from the AmeriCares Foundation, USA who has been our partner since 1985. Last November 2011, typhoon Nesat/Pedring brought devastating flood to several towns in Luzon, in the provinces of Pampanga and Tarlac. AmeriCares airlifted 1 ton of medicines and medical supplies. Last December 2011, typhoon Washi/Sendong flooded the cities of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan and again AmeriCares airlifted 1 ton of medicines and medical supplies.
